Today we celebrate the end of my crazy Spring semester. I still have deadlines coming up, but the extremely ambitious bunch of paper submissions and class commitments has ended and now life will be more balanced. I hope to get the pictures of the day going again this evening. For now here's a photo from last week. I took Friday off from working just to spend with Rowan, and we had a picnic on the deck complete with our first watermelon of the year. Yummmm. We also rode far into the state park (I completed a record 12.3 miles with Rowan in the bike trailer, and managed to get us both back inside the house without collapsing). Pictures of that adventure will be coming soon; we made it to a very scenic lake. Anyway, happy Tuesday everyone!
