Leavin' on a Midnight Coach

Well, it wasn't a midnight coach. It was closer to 1am Eastern time. It was, of course, fully daylight here already, being 6am. After the 2 hour drive, I'm now checked in at the airport and my flight leaves in a little less than two hours. Conveniently, the internet service I paid for at the hotel works in Heathrow airport too, so here I am posting a couple of pictures from our video conferences while I've been away. In the top one, I think Tom had just gotten home from work and Rowan was giving him kiss after kiss! In the bottom one, I was telling Rowan the story of how my friend Peter got pooped on by a seagull while we were eating dinner outside in Brighton; Rowan kept asking me to tell the story again!

I absolutely can't wait to get home to my boys. It won't be just them -- Gram and Papa are there too! Gram has been there the whole time I've been away, taking care of Rowan while Tom was at work. Papa drove up from Georgia yesterday very early in the morning, so I'm really looking forward to seeing him too. It's been many months since I hugged my own Daddy. :-)
