The Sympathy Vote

Rowan took a fall at preschool. It was due to his adventurous spirit; he had built himself a line of blocks and was balancing on them, and just got a little too close to a concrete area. Rowan and his teacher reported that he didn't even cry, instead getting right up and starting to brag to his friends about how he fell! He probably didn't know at the time that his boo-boo is probably enough to get him the sympathy vote in just about any election.

Of course you can imagine that I was very upset about this injury, but all the appropriate first aid was administered, and we're following up closely to make sure there are no lasting effects. And he seems to be in no discomfort at all. Still...my poor little guy!
